About Kensington

Kensington community is a mature community situated in north west Edmonton, zone 1. This neighbourhood was annexed by the City of Edmonton in 1913 however, some of the first residential development didn’t occur until the late 1940s. The majority of the homes in the area are single detached bungalows with detached garages which were mostly built in the 1950s and 1960s.
