Twin Brooks is a newer community in Southwest Edmonton. Its boundaries are between Anthony Henday on the south, 23rd Avenue on the north, Big Bear Park on the east and Whitemud Creek to the west. Twin Brooks is bordered on the west by Whitemud Creek, and Blackmud Creek on the the east, both creeks converge at the northern tip of this community, hence, Twin Brooks.
