About Bannerman

Bannerman community is situated in north east Edmonton, overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. Most of residential properties in Bannerman were built in the late 1970s. Single detached homes make up approximately half of the dwellings in the area with townhouses and apartment condos accounting for the rest. Quite a few of them are rented out. Clareview Village Shopping centre is located in the west part of the neighbourhood, just off Victoria Trail going north. The shopping centre includes; H&W Produce, Giant Tiger, Mac’s, Claireview Childcare& Out of School Care, Drug mart, Laundromat, MoneyGram, Canada Post, liquor store and Franco’s Sports Bar & Grill. Bannermans Churches include; Church RCCG Open heavens Pentecostal Chapel, Bethel Community Christian Church. In the centre of the neighbourhood, on 142nd Avenue is Bannerman Public Elementary School, besides the Bannerman Park which includes a Community league which offers activities like Ice Skating, Gymnasium as well as cardio and weight room. There is quick access to the west of Bannerman to the Clairview LRT station.
