        <title>Decline in Edmonton's Real Estate Market</title>

The average price for a single family detached home in January of 2016 was $418,928, down by 1.3 percent from last month and down by 1.2 from January of 2015. The condo prices were also down by staggering 10.3 at $227,052 from $252,954.


Total of 618 residential properties have sold in the 1st month of 2016, 7.2 less than same period last year. The inventory increased to 5,751 residential properties available compared to 5,088 last months and 4,132 in January of 2015. Average Days-On-Market were up by 9 day at 71.
