Calder is a mature community situated in north west Edmonton, between 113A and 127 street and south of 132 avenue, in Zone 1. Once a village and Hudson's Bay Company reserve, Calder was annexed by the City of Edmonton in 1917. The first properties in Calder were build in 1909. The most common homes in the neighbourhood are single detached dwellings. Miwasin Park is located on 124 Street and a block away on 123 is Chalmers Park.
