Elmwood Park neighbourhood is located in north central Edmonton, south of Yellowhead Trail, bounded by Fort Road and 122 Avenue. Some of the first residential dwelling were constructed back to the 1940s with more development right upto the 1970s. More than half of the homes in the area are single detached houses and the remainder are apartment style condominiums and many of these properties are rented. Elmwood Park is within walking distance to Coliseum LRT station and Rexall Place. Also, the Agricom and Edmonton Northlands Park is situated just to the south. Elmwood Park offers affordable house pricing compared to Edmonton’s average.The Evangelical Baptist Church can be found in this neighbourhood on 82 Street, just a block over west, is a medical clinic and south, conveniently resides Parkdale Square including a variety of amenities, services and schools.
