About Fulton Place

Fulton Place community is situated in Southeast Edmonton in Hardisty area, between 98 and 106 Avenue, and Fulton Drive and 50 Street. It is Named after the creek running along the its west border. Most of the residential development occurred in the mid 1950s with some homes dating back to World War II. Single detached dwellings, especially bungalows, are the predominant type of residence. This neighbourhood is respresented by Fulton Place Community League, dating back to 1958 it resides within a community hall and includes a skating rink, community garden as well as programs and memberships with benefits. The community league can be found on Fulton Place Park, beside Michael Cameron Arena, and just south of Fulton Park is L’arche Association Of Edmonton, and a child care centre. Just west of that on 62 Avenue is Grace United Church, Hardisty Public Elementary and Junior High School and Hardisty Fitness and Leisure Centre which provides fitness & recreational activites. Harry Hardin Park is located just off 102 Avenue, and on the neighbourhoods east border, off 50 street resides Kathleen McAllister Park and the Resurrection Catholic Parish. With a quick commute to the Downtown core or Sherwood Park, this location is only a block away from Capilano Mall and in close proximity to some of Edmonton's main attractions including; The River Valley, The North Saskatewan River, Tiger Goldstick Park, Highlands Gold Club, The Muttart Conservatory, and Riverside Gold Course.
