About Kameyosek

Kameyosek community is situated in south east Edmonton, in the Millwoods area. Most of the residential development in the area occured in the 1970s with the remainder of the homes built in the 1980s. The majority of residences in this neighbourhood are row houses and the rest are singe family dwellings, apartments and duplexes. Just off 29 Avenue you’ll find the spacious Kameyosek Park , Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club, Kameyosek Pubic Elementary School, Saint Theresa's Roman Catholic Parish, and Kameyosek Shopping Centre which includes Fresh Start Mill Woods Outreach High School, a Pharmacy, Millwoods Educational Daycare, 7-11 and more. Just north of the neighbourhood's south border you can find Sunny Start Preschool, Shepherd's Care Foundation, a fire station, and Mill Woods Presbyterian Church, Recreation Centre, and a Skatepark. This location offers quick a commute to South Edmonton Common, Southgate Centre, Mill Woods Town Centre, Grey Nuns Community Hospital and Mill Woods Golf course.
