Virginia Park is a mature community in Northeast Edmonton. Its borders are Wayne Gretzky Drive on the east, Northlands Park to the north, and irregular along 76 str/112ave/78str and Kinnard park on the south. This area has dwellings from nearly every decade since the early 1900's, and is currently undergoing steady infilling due to its affordability and proximity to Downtown, North Saskatchewan River, East Edmonton Health Centre and Wayne Gretzky Drive. Virginia Park public school can be found just south of 111 Avenue. Amenities and businesses in Virginia Park are: Ralph King Athletic Centre, Edmonton Northstar Athletic, Northeast Zone Sports Council, Serendipity Body Products, Hair Galley, and Virginia Park Seniors Citizens Complex. Virginia Park is also home to Concordia College and Borden Park.
