Belvedere community is situated in Northeast Edmonton, just off Fort Road. Some of the first development occurred in the 1940s with more residential properties built until the late 1980s. Single detached bungalows and apartment style condos are the predominant type of dwelling in the area. In the centre of the neighbourhood you’ll find Belvedere Park containing Belvedere Catholic High Elementary School and Belvedere Community Hall, just on 59 street (only a couple blocks over) is Braid’s Park, and to the east, Robert Brett Park with KARA family Resource Centre, a facility providing programs and services for parents. Most of the amenities can be found in Londonderry Mall and Clareview Town Centre shopping centre, but on Fort Road (a major route running East of the neighbourhood) multiple amenities can be found; Value Village, Boston Pizza, McDonalds, A&W, hair salons, convenient stores, a day care, numerous take outs, bingo, a casino/Hotel, car repairs/ washes, and various shops/ small business’s as well as The Belvedere Transit Centre (including LRT) offering quick commute to Downtown core and University area .
