About Beverly Heights

Beverly Heights community is situated in north east Edmonton overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. This mature neighbourhood, once the town of Beverly, was annexed by the City of Edmonton in 1961. Majority of the residential properties in the area were built in the 1950s and 1960s with some homes dating back to World War II. With relatively affordable housing, some of the largest and most expensive homes in the area can be found on Ada Boulevard. Just to the south the neighbourhoods, Floden Park, overlooks the magnificent North Saskatchewan River, one of the main attractions of the neighbourhood. Within Floden Park you’ll find, Beverly Heights Community Hall (offering activities like karate, yoga, biking, and more) and charming walking paths and gorgeous viewpoints giving this neighbourhood an advantage. On 48 Street you’ll find Rundle Park Rink, Beverly Heights Park and Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The Ukrainian Catholic Church and Living Hope Christian Centre can be found on 116 avenue. One of edmonton’s major arterial roads, 118thavenue, includes many amenities; No Frills, 7- Eleven, Beverly Pharmacy, Dollorama, Shopppers Drug Mart, Youth Centre- Hope Mission, hair salons and R. J. Scott Public School which is only a block away from Lawton Public Junior High School. Saint Nicholas Catholic Junior High Academy is just to the east.
