About Duggan

Duggan community is situated in south west Edmonton, near Whitemud Drive. Named after the former mayor of City of Strathcona, J.J. Duggan, most of the development in the area occurred in the 1970s with some homes built in the 1960s. Whitemud Crossing shopping centre and South Park Village Mall are located within walking distance to this mature neighbourhood and homes sell at the Edmonton’s average as well. In the centre of the community resides spacious Duggan Park, Saint Augustine Catholic Elementary School, Duggan Elementary School, World Of Kids Daycare, Duggan Community Hall and Duggan Community League. Duggan Mall is located just across the street of 106, which includes a medical clinic, salons, fast food restaurants and a car wash. There are multiple parks found throughout the neighbourhood, and Southgate Alliance Church is on 40 Avenue. Public Transit and LRT stations are easily accessible in this neighbourhood and this location is in close proximity to South Edmonton Common, The Derrick Gold and Winter Club, Snow Valley Ski Club, Whitemud Drive and Gateway Boulevard.
