Alberta Avenue is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Edmonton with some of its first homes built in 1910s. Situated in the north central part of the city, Alberta Avenue is undergoing revitalization and is slowly catching the attention of many new buyers, especially artists and arts activities, due attractive house pricing and its central location with quick and easy access to Downtown, public transport and all amenities. This neighbourhood has plenty of schools to choose from whether you prefer Catholic ;One World One Centre Catholic School (Kindergarten to High school) or Public; Norwood Public School and plenty more; Delton Early Learning & Out of School Care, Delton Elementary School, Edmonton Islamic Academy, Elite Dance Studio & Freedom School of Dance, CLI College, Speranza Music, South is Defensive& Easy Driving School. There is a park located on 86th street Eastwood Park and a couple streets over the Alberta Avenue Community League. The Sprucewood Public Library is on 95th street. Along 118 avenue you will find tons of small buisness’s, barber shops, auto repair, pawn shops, markets, restaurants, convenient stores and much more. Public Transit runs through the neighbourhood as well.
