Westmount is a mature central west community, bordering 111ave, Groat road to the river valley, and 124 street to Stony Plain Road and 121street. Building of single detached homes began in 1910 and hasn't stopped since. In fact, there is a designated historical homes area, as well as almost every type of home including new builds and condos. Westmount is also home to the quaint 124str shopping district on its east side, and across from Westmount mall on its west side.
