Edmonton Home Renovation Show 2017!

This was definitely one of the best home renovation shows to date. At 225 exhibitors, spread out over 2 halls at Northlands, one definitely had lots to see & learn. If you were able, you could get $3 off the reasonable $12 admission by purchasing online prior-Northlands was well advertised and organized as well as plugged into facebook, twitter and instagram . According to 880 Newsradio, the total amount of visitors was approximately 24,000, but don’t let that scare you off-crowds ebbed and flowed, so if you really wanted to speak with an exhibitor, you really didn’t have to wait long if at all. I found that those with whom I did speak, were very knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic. Of course there was no shortage of pamphlets, brochures,” buy one get one”, and contests. What made this show so great was the sheer variety of exhibits. You could buy a Lexus, interview any number of potential contractors, invest in land development, buy furniture, or just be amazed at how showers and hot tubs have evolved into ultra luxury items.

In a couple of hours, you will actually be inspired & informed without having to adrive all over town. With Alberta’s uncertain economy at present, seems Edmontonians are choosing to invest in their current homes. Investment in your home can be a stunning custom entry door, smart green technology, creative landscaping, upgrading your kitchen/bath, or finally get that deck for entertaining in style. Such investments, especially with professional guidance and/or installation are sure to boost not only your enjoyment of your home, but eventual re-sale value. Final thoughts, the stage & seating area for the live shows-particularly” The Baeumlers” could have been larger-I’m sure it will be next year. This event really showcased some of the best companies and organizations in Edmonton, their pride & products and services really do shine!
